Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

HAMMER GANG

Set up time on the next lot. I don't know when the motorized "stake driver" was invented but this way was much more interesting to me. In all my years in the business I saw two people drive stakes with a 16 pounder in each hand, Eddie Zacchini, in fact he said, "I bet you never saw this before", and about the time I said, "yes, I saw Ray 'Slick' Valentine do it", one of the hammers slipped and hit Eddie in the shin. I'm sure there were many a hammer man that could do it.
