Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

THE GIBSONTON SHOWMAN'S CLUB CHARITY CIRCUS # 1: SNAPSHOTS AROUND THE LOT.

I received these photos on the, "Infernal Machine", late last night from Penny Rodriguez. "Ain't technology great"

Trudy Strong & Lance Ramos, I'll bet the subject of this conversation was Tigers.

Bill Strong,(hey that's me), & Patty Cook
Patty received some minor burns from a fire inside the car just after the 1st show, it was quickly extinguished and Jack had not found the cause or the extent of damage when I spoke with him.

Joanne & Trudy enjoyed the company of Sven & Lilly,(Lili-Ana) Kristensen during the show.

The most frequent comments I heard about the Gibtown Show were "Great show, lots of animals" and "all the kids stayed in their seats!"
I think they are connected

Unfortunately I left the top after the comedy car,(exhaust fumes), and didn't see the exotic act, but have heard nothing but good reports.

2 drmedary camels
1 llama
2zebras
2 white ponies

1 llama needs more time before it is ready to join show biz
I was most impressed with how well the zebras did on their first day in a show

i know the music was great if chuck was involved. i've seen him do shows where he was a one-man band -- playing all by himself -- and he still sounded better than most of the other bands. i will always be proud of the time we worked together; he's the best.
