SPARKS CIRCUS CLOWNS 1946 (EDITED)
I found this comment in my email this morning, I originally posted the picture on April 25, 2006. The only ones I had identified were Ernie & Dime so this fills in some gaps.
SPARKS CIRCUS 1946
Hi Bill-
Just for the record, I have been looking at your blog from the earliest posting available and found this photo. At the last CFA Convention in Sarasota, I bought an 8x10 of this image with the names on the back, so this is the list: L to R, Elmer Linquist, Phil Keeler, Ernie Burch, Johnny White, Hodgini "boy", and Dime Wilson.

I tried to include this when I posted the other one put couldn't get it open, so I sneaked up on it from a different angle tonight.

Bill, If the left to right names are correct, is Ernie in the "Carmen Miranda" wardrobe? I thought he was the one in white face. Bill Galloway, Rochester,NY
Hi Bill,
I think this was one of Ernie's alter-egos, I seem remember him doing it later. Ernie did this "Tramp" make up occasionally, he also did an "Auguste", but there always seemed to be some "Blinko" in each one. Somewhere in my files I have a picture of a White face clown that says Blinko on it that I din't recognize,(could be before my time).
Hi Bill, Thanks for clearing this up.I guess Kim,Vlastic and Vincent (the act stealer)are getting ready for the big Circus Week in Altoona.Bill Galloway,Rochester,NY
