IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, AND MISS WHAT IT USED TO BE, THEN COME ON ALONG AS WE GO DOWN THE ROAD FOLLOWING THE ARROWS BACKWARDS, TO "YESTERDAY'S TOWNS"! IF YOU HAVE CIRCUS RELATED PICTURES YOU WOULD LIKE POSTED, SEND THEM TO,,,,yesterday1@verizon.net,,,,AND WE WILL TRY TO FIT THEM IN. "24 HOUR MAN" WILL HAVE THE FINAL DECISION ON POSTING.

Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

FOR unohoo: LUM WONG & THE MARINELLI BEND

This is a rehash but a well deserved one, in fact I should have posted it with the others;;;; no, on second thought it deserves a spot of it's own, because as many people who have done the Marinelli Bend, as far as I know, this particular version belongs to Lum Wong alone.

Lum Wong of The Jim Wong Troupe is the only one I've ever seen do this trick, and I don't believe anyone has done it since. Going into a handstand at the bottom of the bar in the right foreground, he would then walk up the bar sideways,(on his hands), turn and cross the bar to the other side, then turn again, and come down the other side,(which is where he is in this snapshot), then walk on his hands to the front of the stage,(or ring), snap down to his feet & do a couple flip-flaps.
