Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!
A frequent visitor to Buckles' Blog, & Yesterday's Towns, is Dave Price, Dave worked several years as an advance man for the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus, Famous Cole, Carson and Barnes, the original Kelly-Miller, Cristiani Bros, Royal Hanneford, Martin & Downs and Sterling & Wallace. Upon retiring he started a collection of Clyde Beatty memorabilia that would rival any museum, and is still growing.
