Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

Didn't the St. Leon's also do a comedy contortion act as sailors?

Yes, I think it was called, "The Seven Sailors", a sliding table knock about act, the best I ever saw. I remember in the Cafe Mocambo in Montreal, Raul Hoffman,(on the right in the photo), used to slide across the table on his stomach, land on the stage still sliding & wind up sliding down the steps into the audience, tore the house down.
