Andre, What a first class guy. Always elegant and a gentleman. We became good friends and I miss him. His was a slow depilitating death and all to soon, I always teased him about how many times he'd crack the whip in the act, It's for the people in the seats! he always said.

mr. lee,
You are correct on Andre's whip skill's. I would also like to ad Lou Regan and Billy Baker to that list.
You forgot showmanship? In 1975 dear Andre spent an hour, showing me how to jump on an elephant tub "softly and with elegance", at the conclusion of the elephant act.
