Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!
I found this little poster on ebay, a great addition to my collection of, "Daredevils", "High Acts", & "Sway Poles", the pole seems to be quite unique for that time, with such a long swaying section, & only one set of guy lines. I notice he also did the head first slide, in case you can't read it, the date is 1938.
