I'm enjoying the series on ladies of the circus. Also appreciated seeing the photos from the Tim Holst memorial. One brought back a memory.
In my youth the circus was the Polack Bros. show that played Hammond, IN in January. For several seasons they had a fine risley act, the Fredonias. The acrobatics were great but as a high school-aged male I really enjoyed watching the attractive, talented young lady in the act. Surprise, surprise, she appeared on Yesterday's Towns. Any photos of the Fredonia act?

Somewhere on the blog there is a not too good video of the Polack Bros. with the Fredonias, & I think I have a photo, if I can find it in my "Biblical Filing System",(that's seek & ye shall find).
