Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

I asked him in the dressing room if he knew the whereabouts of an old friend of mine, a tightwire walker named Santos. He replied, "do you mean Dos Santos?", I said "yes", & he told me that Santos was his father-in-law, that's who taught him how to walk wire. I was disappointed that in the six years we were there we never got to see Manuel or the girls.
