Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

~BOOM A RING #4~

Just after finale the clean-up crew swarms upon the debris. The fast moving
crew has the place cleaned up in about 20 minutes.

Karl Winn's Wheel spotted on the back right side and The Urias Globe on the left.
The Urias' troupe composed of Ervin and Jodie plus Melvin and Olga.
One of the biggest "screams" followed by applause is at the end of the act when the third rider is introduced and removes their helmut and the presumed male rider turns out to be the beautiful Olga.
Vincentia Pages' rings are seen top center; she workds the aerial immediately after her white tigers.
Since the audience is NOT "over exposed" to the elephants during the ubiquitous pre-show elephant rides as in the standard operating procedure on most shows, the elephants' entrance gets that old-time "ohh" and "ahh" reception upon their arrival.
Ramon Esqueda leads the Miller Equipment Company Elephants (Carson and Barnes) on lease to Ringling.
When New Yorkers like something they let you know with a volcanic reaction.

The photo brings up a good point.
The show ends with the fast track acro/tumbers.
After both shows the troupe practiced some moves while the audience WAS STILL being played out.
Very strange.
I don't know the reason they couldn't wait a few more minutes until the house was emptied before practicing.
Note to production.
