Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!
A class of five-year olds are learning to read.
One of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said, "Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!"
The teacher took a deep breath, then asked..."What did you call it?"
"It's a frickin' elephant miss! It says so on the picture!"
And so it does...
