Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

IDLEWILDE PARK LEGONIER PA

Idlewilde was a nice quiet place even when it was full of people. This is from a snapshot of the LaBlonde Trio (who I worked for) Aerial Bar Act rigging in the high act location. The great thing about Idlewilde was there love for and loyalty to Circus people, Bob Fisher ran the warehouse, and when we were there I drove the jeep used to supply the joints. Wally Fisher ran the Rootbeer Stand, Nellie & Bosie Dutton ran the Shooting Gallery, Neets & Roy Deisler ran the Novelties, and the last time I visited there Micky King was running the Kiddy Rides.
