Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

"THE WILL ROGERS FOLLIES" JOANNE WILSON

Last Fall, & this Spring Joanne toured the U.S. with the road show version of the Broadway Musical, "The Will Rogers Follies".
This photo was taken recently on a
different production of that show on a two week run in Boston. The gentleman on the right is actor Chris McDaniels, who played Will Rogers' father in the road show, and appeared in this show doing his Rope Spinning Act. In the bottom picture Joanne is holding Jumper, a great little dog who finishes every trick with the attitude of, OK what's next!

Hey this is great -- first the Lone Ranger, now more cowboy stuff --- wild west acts don't get enought play nowadays it seems -- Bill you've inspired me to do my part presenting this portion of Americana in the circus!

I thought so, I shod her horses in the early 80's in Seagoville and at the Dr. Pepper Circus at the State Fair of Texas.
