Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

OTHER HIGH ACTS AND UNUSUAL RIGGINGS #2

DELILAH CANESTRELLI This is Delilah Canestrelli on Ringling Bros. I don't know that she worked any higher as naturally in some buldings the building itself dictated the possibilities. It is definately not the best place to be walking on a Rolling Globe.

BOB TOP & LAUREN This is Bob Top & Lauren also on Ringling Bros. Here they are on a level with the flying act which is usually about 32'.
Indoors or out, I don't remember them working exceptionally high but then again who would blame him , it is obvious there is no room here for mistakes.
(Incidently I just received news that Bob's second wife & partner, Edna Voight passed away on Saturday!)

THE ALLENS This is The Allens on Hamid-Morton Circus in 1954, if you're not familiar with the act, notice there is a motorcycle inside the wheel propelling the rigging, I don't know how or if it was rigged outdoors but it was obviously not for low buildings.
