HOWDY, MY NAME IS BILL STRONG, I'LL BE YOUR "24 HOUR MAN", ROUTING YOU INTO THE PAST TO SEE WHAT THE CIRCUS WAS IN DAYS GONE BY. IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, AND MISS WHAT IT USED TO BE, THEN COME ON ALONG AS WE GO DOWN THE ROAD FOLLOWING THE ARROWS BACKWARDS, TO "YESTERDAY'S TOWNS"! IF YOU HAVE CIRCUS RELATED PICTURES YOU WOULD LIKE POSTED, SEND THEM TO,,,,yesterday1@verizon.net,,,,AND WE WILL TRY TO FIT THEM IN. "24 HOUR MAN" WILL HAVE THE FINAL DECISION ON POSTING.

Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

FIRST IMPRESSION #8: FLYING ACTS #2

THE FLYING VASQUEZ
These are some very colorful, impressive capes.

THE FLYING EPANAS
In case you don't recognize him, the young man on the left is Wire Walker Pedro Carillo Jr. The Sombreros & Mayan colors do make a beautiful combination.

THE FLYING RODRIQUEZ
Just the number of people in a Double Wide Flying Act makes a spectacular entrance, the capes are icing on the cake. I would like to have seen this in color.

the gaonas had a great entrance with all their cape twirling. it was the best flying act entrance i ever saw. but again, it was the best flying act i ever saw, too, with so much style, grace and beauty as well as outstanding talent by everyone - not something where one person flew and the others styled and oulled the flybar back to the stand.
