THE LADIES AND THEIR TIGERS ACCORDING TO "EVERY WEEK" MAGAZINE, CIRCA 1916
I was going to change the word Tiger to Cats, but then I thought the text with these pictures will probably ruffle some feathers, & bruise some egos, anyway, so we might as well get right to it with, "there are no Tigers pictured, so the author obviously doesn't know what he,(or she), is talking about".

Those old magazine clippings are a joy to see and read, plus a bit of personal history, 'is great'.
i will never cease to be amazed at ow many other-wise intelligent people don't know the difference between a lion and a tiger or leopard! clyde beatty once said one of the reasons he stopped working female lions was that people didn't know what they were. in a related matter but a different story, circus animals won in minneapolis!
Yay for Minneapolis, but it was a close 7/6 from the city council. On another totally unrelated topic-one of those cutesy plaques at a fair had this feline description:
A cat is a tiny little woman...in a cheap fur coat. cc
