About Me
- Name: 24-HOUR-MAN
- Location: GIBSONTON, FLORIDA, United States
Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

Hi Bill: Don't know if folks realize it or not, but the Nerger's were originally from East (Communist) Germany and originally worked for the Ursula Boettcher Polar Bear Act outside of the cage/ring. Hans Jurgen told me that's where they first learned training of wild animals, working with bears. I'm not sure if they came with the act to the U.S., but I don't believe the bears ever went back to Germany; weren't they sold to a Mexican circus after their stint at Circus World Park?

P.S. It's cold enough for a Polar Bear here today, -1 is the high today, expecting -18 tonight. I hope Joanne & Peewee's heat is working OK in Appleton!
