Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

Hi Bill: Barbara Warkmeister is now living in Las Vegas and is good friends with Jan Biggerstaff. If her schedule will allow, Barbara may be at the CFA Convention in Las Vegas June 15-18. I believe Mel is also living in Las Vegas and it was through him that the CFA Convention Committee was able to secure an appearance by Siegfried & Roy at a special luncheon in their honor. Jan and a "bunch of old Show Broads" as Jan calls them, get together for lunch on a regular basis. Other friends who join them include Patsy Jordan, Beverly Abderahmen (Antar Wazzan's wife) and the female performer from the Ronritas Wheel Act, which I apologize that I don't know her name. I bet the jackpots passed around are really something! Anyway, that's what's happened to BA & MEL!

Hi Neil,
THANK YOU MUCH! We had a lot of good times with them on the Gil Grey Circus in the early '60's. It was the fastest moving circus in history,(Town to Town), one night someone took soap & wrote numbers on all the private vehicles. I remember once in Three Rivers, MN. we closed the doors on the prop truck, 18 min. after finale.
