Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

SNAPSHOTS: FROM EVA WILLIAMS #1

This is a great shot of the Coronas High Wire Act on the stage at Kennywood Park in 1957, this had to be one of the most extraordinary settings for Aerial Acts in the country. I for one miss the parks as they were in those days, much more intimate, and much more comfortable.
Next is a family portrait with Eva, her Father, her Mother holding George, Jana, & Mathias, in front is Charles kneeling beside Serge, also on the Kennywood stage.

Oh what memories these pictures bring. What a wonderful family and a great act. The family visited my house in Corona, NY. Since they did not speak English at that time, Eva's Mother, Father, Aunt and Uncle spoke in their native langue, Check.
My Mother and Father spoke in German to them and Eva and I corresponded in French. We all understood one another. Those moments can never be repeated. Thank you Eva. Berta
