Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

SNAPSHOTS: BETTY PASCO

HERE IS THE LOVELY BETTY PASCO, ANOTHER VERY SEXY, VERY CLASSY LADY AERIALIST OF THE 1950's AND '60's.
IF YOU WILL NOTICE SHE IS ALSO WEARING A ONE PIECE COSTUME!!!!

I totaly agree with you Mr Lee. 12 people can do the same tricks, but there is one who catches your eye and keeps it. It seems like a one piece costume would make it hard to do some tricks. Airial[?] acts seem to be a great place for two piecers. Betty was one of a kind. I see struting your stuff, but you have to have the stuff to strut in the first place. Betty sure did. Struppi was another. I tried never to miss her performance.

I have to admit I hadn't thought of Betty Pasco in years. Then the beautiful memories return. This is why these sites like yours and Buckles's are valuable beyond description.

Betty was way ahead of everyone with her wardrobe back in those days -- she was the first one to use ELASTIC LACE, when the rest of us didn't even know what it was!! We all watched her every performance, and strained to see how her costumes were made, as they never MOVED on her body!!
