Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

CIRCUS KRONE IN NUREMBERG

The lot in Nuremberg is right next to a huge building that Hitler was having built to house the Nazi Congress, naturally it never got finished, it is now,(at least it was when we were there), a warehouse. It is a big ring, open in the center & was to be a stadium, the arches you see on the ground level are repeated inside the ring but on the upper floor & were to be the stadium access, they are bricked up now.

BACK YARD

EXERCISE CAGE
As I remarked before the exercise cage now extends the entire front of the cage wagons, there are three wagons, & the one on the right has a removable floor, & becomes a swimming pool for the Tigers.

HORSE TENT
There are forty box stalls in the tent.

INSIDE
If I remember correctly there was one groom per every four horses. Mike,"Dr." Gorman), who was our cage boy before we went to Germany, & Susan Lacey's later is now the night watchman for the horses.
