Hi Bill: Absolutely, these are the Elkins Sisters or The Fabulous Darnells or the Fabulous Dior Sisters. Take your pick... and they still look Fabulous in the ring too.

P.S. Bill, We have tickets for the Palm Springs Follies for Friday Evening, December 28th and I'm really looking forward to seeing Joanne & Pee Wee! Can you let them know that I want to take them out to breakfast, lunch or dinner too or maybe all three while I'm out there? THANKS SO MUCH!!! Neil

Technically this act is The Elkin Sisters, originally imported to the Steel Pier by Mr. Hamid (the original). The two sister, Trude and Elfie came over first and followed by Kurt's niece Hanna-Lore, known as Honey.

When they retired the acro act, in the mid-70's they created two acts, the Faublous Darnells (dressed dogs) and the Dazzling Diors (magic and illusions).

Recent appearances include the Lawrence Welk show in Palm Springs and Branson, plus the Palm Springs Follies several years ago.

The Darnells have worked for all FOUR generations of the Hamids.

After their first show at the Steel Pier, Trude instucted Kurt to cancel their contract and book passage back to Europe...the stage was full of sand and there was seven shows a day. As you can imagine, Trude said, "For this we came to America!"
