Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

BACK TO THE FUTURE 70 YEARS

So I lied, it's almost 70 years. Here we are in 1997, in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with a beautiful night time aerial view of Circus Krone set up on a pier in the world's busiest harbor. Many people ask me about the size of Circus Krone, the tent seats approx. 5000 people, and when they traveled by rail it took 65 flats, 14 animal coaches, & 3 passanger coaches. Even then there were 7 or 8 wagons that for one reason or other still traveled by highway. The long narrow tent on the far side is the 40 box stall horse tent, at the end of that is the elephant tent, and on the near side is the exotic tent.
