Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

JOHN FRANCIS UNITED SHOWS # 2

Gilbert learned early how to get paid doing little odd jobs around the lot, and every time he got paid, no matter what he was given he would go to the ticket office and exchange it for 10cent pieces. I'm sure you can see where this is going and you are right, pretty soon everyone started calling him Dime, and it stuck with him his whole life. He even had it legaly changed to Dime.
