Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

SNAPSHOTS: LEE KIMRIS 1940's, ' 50's, & ' 6O's

I'M SURE NO MATTER WHAT I SAY ABOUT THIS LADY, I WILL BE ACCUSED OF BIAS, AND THOSE ACCUSATIONS WOULD BE WELL FOUNDED, TRUDY & I WERE INSTRUCTED TWICE A DAY FOR A MONTH ON THINGS LEE & HENRI SPENT YEARS DEVELOPING.
SHE IS PROOF IN THIS STUDIO SHOT OF WHAT A WOMAN CAN LOOK LIKE WITHOUT WEARING A SKIMPY COSTUME AND SHOWING,,,,,,,,,,,,WELL YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!!

This is a beautiful costume for the work she did. Very classy! I would not put her in a cage of wild animals though. I am so jealous of long legs.

Am I correct that I saw the Kimris on Ringling, in '57? This is when I realized there are some acts that can chill me to the bone--and it came to me again watching you and Trudy up there. I loved the act, but I literally shook trying to watch it.

To Rebecca:

Don't be jealous of those long legs. There certainly ain't nothing wrong with yours.
