Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

SNAPSHOTS: HIND LEG HORSES, & PONIES

It seems people never get tired of seeing Horses, & Ponies rear up, and walk on their hind legs, whether it's one, or a group, whether alone or with a rider in the saddle, it's always a beautiful sight. In the following posts are groups of photos of Trainers, & Presenters with single Horses, & Ponies and groups of Liberty Horses doing various maneuvers, all on their hind legs!

"GOD FORBID I SHOULD GO TO A HEAVEN WHERE THERE ARE NO HORSES"

Bill, great spread on horses. Thanks for putting it together. I spent my earlier years on horseback and enjoyed it very much. One of my teachers was Arthur Konyot who managed a stable(Ambassador) on the near north side of Chicago before he left to work for Arthur Godfrey. His daughter, Dorita managed another stable a few blocks to the north.I believe her barn was Christensen's stable. In those days there were lots of horses on the bridle paths along the lakefront. Today, the joggers have taken over. The only horses left are those pulling carriages near north side. Times have changed.
