JUST SOME SNAPSHOTS THROUGH THE YEARS
DIME WILSON
That's Gene Randow getting ready to get out of the way of the falling tables. Believe it or not, after all the beatings that little stool took, it is still here, in one piece. Polack Bros. Circus, 1940's.
THE DUKE FAMILY
I can name Jolly, & Paul, But I need some help with the girls. Annymous was right, it is Sandra & Pauline. Man, you can't tell the players without a program!
JONI, THE GIRL IN THE HEART
This is Joni Laribee,( wife of Ringmaster Lucky Laribee). This dates at least to the early 1950's.

The one closest to Paul is Pauline Duke, and I think the other is Sandra Duke.
Penny, you outdo yourself....I was delighted with the Duke Family...
Yes, I know Pauline...she worked with us one time...
I guess you know Duke is Beverly's father?? Bev is Antar's wife...
tis a small world....
Where do you store all these great old pictures??
Bill,
My uncle, Billy Lerche, did the table rock routine as well. He used four tables and a folding chair. When he finally went over, he took the chair with him in a somersault and ended up sitting in the chair on the ground. Needless to say, the tables survive to this day, the chair(s) however do not.
Bob
If that were Margaret in the picture, that makes me very, very, old. She is the mother of Adam who will perform with the Hawthorn Tigers this year. Margaret was the swimmer amoung the whales when JC presented his elephants in Canada. I am proud to call her my friend.
Thanks Dutchess, the girls in the picture are my sisters Sandra and Pauline.Sandra also worked with the Wazzans.
Thank You Margaret I will correct that right now.
What about Luckey Larabee? I have not seen anything about him for several years. He was our Announcer here for many years. Great to work with when timing the opening shows on the date.Bill in RochesterNY

Oh my goodness! I started searching for pictures of my cousin Vincent, and stumbled across your blog and find a picture I'd never seen of my Granfather and mother,(Sandra) and see my Aunt Margaret has signed your blog! How awesome. Do you have any other older Duke photos, and by chance if you are still in touch with Margaret can you please pass along my email?
Thank you so much, and your blog is wonderful!!
