Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

Another performer described as the greatest of his time, Maximiliano Truzzi.(Thanks to an anonymous blogger, I finally have this name spelled right!)

By Golly, you are right, man do I feel stupid!!!! It is Truzzi.
After leaving the Ringling Show - Truzzi was on Floyd Kings' King Bros. Circus. He was truly Center Ring Class and a real crowd pleaser. Ann Dingler, wife of Red Dingler, both performers on King Show styled for Truzzi. She always said that Truzzi spoke very little English and she spoke no Russian??? so they were very compitable. The last time I saw Truzzi was in the '50's, I was with the LaBlondes Bar Act playing The Mocambo Cafe in Montreal. All the artists stayed in a little hotel in the same building as the club, & Truzzi was staying there playing poker with the owner for room rent. As I remember he was winning too.
wow, if this is the Max Truzzi I HAVE HAD THE pleasure of meeting this person today , I looked up his name after hearing he was in the cirus!
