Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

FIRST IMPRESSION #4: LOVELY LADIES #4

Here we see two of the lovely, classy, aerialists, possibly in a change of wardrobe, but more likely in the transition of improving their style as time went by. Lou Ann Jacobs, and Gala Shawn, and if I had an entrance photo of Dolly's Ring Act, it would be here too)!

LOU ANN JACOBS BARREDA

GALA SHAWN

I remember when Gala Shawn's entrance cape was a simple Mink Stole, and when she entered the ring, it was positive proof that, "it ain't what you do, it's the way what you do it"!

Tiny was a lady to the end. She and Buzz use to have concessions on Jim Hetzers Circus. I did the marketing for Jim on a number of his West Virginia dates. Spent a number of evenings jackpotting with Tiny and Buzz in those WV coal minning towns. Tiny contiuned to have the appearance of a star center ring performer..Thank you Tiny you will not be forgotten. My younger daughters at the time always enjoy going with me because they knew Tiny would give them an item from their stand...Thank you Bill for posting these wonderful pictures...
