CELESTE #2: SPECIAL EFFECTS

MIRROR BALL
Notce here a mirror Ball is used as opposed to the Cross used outdoors, the ball would be ineffective with no ceiling. I'm not sure I see the purpose of the bubbles?


Spotlights reflecting off a mirror ball never fail to get the audience, and help give the illusion of speed as does the steady driving drone of the siren mentioned by James C. Hall. I can remember when Trudy used to increase the volume of our siren, I even found myself preparing for more speed.


He also mentioned music, I know most band leaders consider performers a pain in the butt for insisting the music be played correctly, only a performer knows how it feels when your music is, "right".


Incidently I did this post while listening to a recording of the Kimris music, done by Jack Cervone on the Dobritch Show. Still a thrill!!!!
