SNAPSHOT: STEEL PIER THRILL CIRCUS, CLASS OF 1952


This is the cast of the Thrill Circus & Water Show produced by George A. Hamid Sr. on The Atlantic City, Steel Pier in "52. The Clown Cop is Charlie Franks, L to R starting behind the fourth girl from the left, is Sylvia Watkins, (DOGS); her daughter Patty; Mrs. Hedy Corona, (Matias' wife);Jana Corona, & Eva Corona. In front of Eva are Kitty, & Dave Oriel, (Cradle Act); and at the back in white shirts are Mathias, and Charles Corona. The Coronas of course were noted for their High Wire Act. The photo comes from the Coronas private collection.
