Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!
We were laying off at Dave Hale's in '86 and I heard the phone ring, since there was no one else around I answered it, it was a neighbor who said she just drove by the pasture and thought she saw one of the camels giving birth. Trudy, Linda,(Dave's right hand), & I went looking & sure enough there was a baby,still wet. Linda led the mama & Trudy & I brought the baby back to the barn, it was a nice experience.
