PEACHES & SIMMY: FROM RICK COBB

This comes from a man who lives in California but has roots in Sarasota, he found my ebay site accidently while researching some very old Kimris photos he found in an antique store in Bradenton. I will be posting some of those in days to come.

Hi Bill:
I got this photo from my Dad when I was in Florida
last week. My Dad bought his house from Simmy and they
lived next door in Osprey for maybe 25 years. They
were great friends and I remember having lunch with
Simmy a number of times. Back of photo reads "To Dick
(my Dad) and Tempie (my step Mom) The very best
friends and neighbors in the world. Rudi, Tiny, &
Simmy". Anyway, thought you might like this for your
website.
Best regards, Rick

Bill,
It is great to see Simmy and Peaches on your Blog. I met them when I was a child. They appeared with the Tom Packs show in the 50's and 60's on the West Virgina summer dates. Class Act performers and wonderful people. Beautiful high act at night outside, with all their special lighting and pyro.

Did this act start with the couple in formal wear? TUX and BALL GOWN?
