Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

GILLY WAGON

What we would call a "Gilly Wagon", is referred to there as a "Matador",I never did ask why, it is used in town for everything from from grocery shopping for the kitchen, to picking up supplies for the work shop.It seats 8 or 9 and is also used on jumps to haul personel. Here it is taking the Elephant crew to the railroad yard to bring the Elephants to the lot. It will lead the proccession playing Circus music and ballying the show.
