YESTERDAY'S TOWNS

HOWDY, MY NAME IS BILL STRONG, I'LL BE YOUR "24 HOUR MAN", ROUTING YOU INTO THE PAST TO SEE WHAT THE CIRCUS WAS IN DAYS GONE BY. IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, AND MISS WHAT IT USED TO BE, THEN COME ON ALONG AS WE GO DOWN THE ROAD FOLLOWING THE ARROWS BACKWARDS, TO "YESTERDAY'S TOWNS"! IF YOU HAVE CIRCUS RELATED PICTURES YOU WOULD LIKE POSTED, SEND THEM TO,,,,yesterday1@verizon.net,,,,AND WE WILL TRY TO FIT THEM IN. "24 HOUR MAN" WILL HAVE THE FINAL DECISION ON POSTING.

Three years at CWM made me a real traditionalist, and I keep remembering Bob Parkinson saying, "I want the people to see what the circus used to be, not what it is today. That's what this site is about!

MINNEAPOLIS SHRINE CIRCUS 1961 #2

The program doesn't show an intermission so evidently there was none.

THE FLYING WARDS
This picture of the Wards was taken when Bonnie & Reggie Armor were with Harold, & Millie, who I believe by this time were with Bobby Yerkes. On this date Billy Woods, Dennie Pinson, & Trudy Wilson Strong were in the Ward act.

BEAR & LEOPARD ACT DISPLAY
I'm not sure if this is really the way it happened, but it would be more logical.

This was display #20.
Now look on the program at #21, "I don't think so"!!!!

it's unbelievable than stars such as LaNorma and Maryse Begary were in the same display! it would seem like they would work separately, particularly since their acts were so different.

The only logical display in the whole program is the two Table Rocks!
